Schoenoplectiella smithii (also called Smith's Schoenoplectiella, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Cyperaceae family. It is native to India and is found in wet grasslands and marshes. It is an annual herb, reaching up to 30 cm in height. The leaves are linear and measure 2–4 cm long and 0.5–1 cm wide.
