Description
Schoenoplectiella roylei (also called Royle's Schoenoplectiella, among many other common names) is an annual herb, usually up to 1 m tall. It is native to the Afrotropical region, occurring in Angola, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe. It is found in dry woodland, bushland and grassland.
