Allophylus chlorocarpus (also called Chlorocarpus Allophylus, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, usually up to 8 m tall. It is native to the Afrotropical region, occurring in Angola, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe. It is found in dry woodland, bushland and grassland.
