Description

Vangueria obtusifolia (also called Obtuse-leaved Medlar, among many other common names) is a small tree, up to 10 m tall, with a dense crown and rough bark. It is native to tropical Africa, from Nigeria to South Africa, and is found in a variety of habitats, from coastal dunes to dry bushland.
