Description

Sasaella leucorhoda (also called Japanese bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to Japan and Korea. It is a clumping bamboo, with culms that are green to yellow-green in color and grow to a height of 3–4 m. It is found in moist forests and thickets at altitudes of 0–1,500 m.
