Sasaella hidaensis (also called Hida bamboo, among many other common names) is a species of bamboo native to Japan. It is a clump-forming, evergreen perennial with arching stems and narrow, lance-shaped leaves. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade.
