Nastus humbertianus (also called African Violet, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, Asia, and Madagascar. It has a rosette of leaves and small, white, star-shaped flowers. It grows in moist, shady habitats.
