Description

Bromus anomalus (also called Anomalous brome, among many other common names) is an annual grass species native to Central and Eastern Europe. It has a short stem, with a few branches, and grows to a height of up to 1 m. The leaves are linear, with a pointed tip, and are up to 10 cm long. It is found in open woodlands, grasslands, and disturbed areas, typically in moist soils.

Bromus anomalus is used as a cover crop and for erosion control. It is also used as a fodder crop for livestock.
