Stylocline gnaphaloides (also called Gnaphalium Stylocline, among many other common names) is an annual herb that is native to the western United States. It has a basal rosette of leaves with a single stem that can reach up to 1 meter in height. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in meadows, grasslands, and along roadsides.
