Rudbeckia mohrii (also called Mohr's coneflower, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to the southeastern United States. It has a single stem that can reach up to 1 meter in height, with yellow-orange ray flowers and a dark brown center disk. It grows in open woodlands, meadows, and prairies.
