Description

Richteria pyrethroides (also called Redstem, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to the southeastern United States. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem that can reach up to 1 m tall. The leaves are lanceolate and up to 10 cm long. The flowers are white with yellow centers and are arranged in a corymb. It grows in dry, sandy soils in open woodlands and grasslands.
