Description
Ophryosporus steinbachii (also called Steinbach's Ophryosporus, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to South America. It has a single trunk with a rounded crown and grows to a height of 2-4 m. Its leaves are simple, alternate, and ovate to lanceolate in shape. It is found in open forests, scrublands, and grasslands in the Andean region of South America.
