Description

Ophryosporus heptanthus (also called seven-stamen ophryosporus, among many other common names) is an annual herb native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It has a branching stem and grows to a height of 10-50 cm. Its leaves are lanceolate and its flowers are white. It grows in dry, sandy soils and is found in deserts, grasslands, and chaparral habitats.
