Description
Helichrysum attenuatum (also called slender everlasting, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that grows up to 30 cm tall. It is native to western North America, from British Columbia to California, and is found in dry open woods, meadows, and rocky slopes. Its leaves are alternate, pinnately divided, and its flowers are yellow and daisy-like.

Helichrysum attenuatum is a perennial plant that can be propagated by seed or division. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant once established. It can be divided in spring or fall.
