Description
Guioa melanopoda (also called Bluebells, among many other common names) is a small shrub with bright blue bell-shaped flowers. It is native to Australia and is found in open woodlands and grasslands.

Flower: White, 5 petals, 2.5 cm in diameter. Seed: Brown, 1 cm in diameter, oval shape. Seedlings: Green, 5-7 cm in height, oval shaped leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Guioa melanopoda is a small tree, usually growing up to 10 m tall. It is best propagated from seed. The seed should be sown in a well-drained seedbed in a sunny position. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, they should be transplanted into individual containers and grown on in a sheltered position until they are large enough to be planted out into their permanent positions.
