Cultivation and Propagation

Guioa melanopoda is a small tree, usually growing up to 10 m tall. It is best propagated from seed. The seed should be sown in a well-drained seedbed in a sunny position. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, they should be transplanted into individual containers and grown on in a sheltered position until they are large enough to be planted out into their permanent positions.
