Description
Allophylus gossweileri (also called Gossweiler's Allophylus, among many other common names) is a small evergreen shrub or tree, usually growing up to 5 m tall. It is native to tropical South America, and is found in humid forests, from sea level to 1,200 m. It has simple, alternate, elliptic-oblong to obovate leaves, with a smooth margin and a leathery texture.
