Geissanthus occidentalis (also called Geissanthe occidentalis, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Gesneriaceae. It is a perennial herb with a woody base and grows up to 40 cm in height. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, and is found in montane forests and cloud forests at elevations of 1000-3000 m.
