Poa stiriaca is a perennial grass native to the Himalayas. It can be propagated from seed or division. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining, sandy soil mix in a warm, humid environment. Division should be done in the spring or fall and the divisions should be planted in a moist, well-draining soil mix. The plant prefers bright, indirect light and should be kept in temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C).
