Poa meionectes (also called Giant Hairgrass, among many other common names) is a perennial grass native to Europe, Asia and North America. It is a tufted grass with long, narrow leaves that are typically green in color. It grows in a variety of habitats, including grasslands, meadows, and open woodlands.
