Syzygium tripinnatum (also called Tripinnate Syzygium, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Myrtaceae. It is native to Southeast Asia and is found in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Laos. It is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 10 meters in height. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests.

Cultivation and Propagation

Syzygium tripinnatum is a small to medium-sized evergreen tree, growing to a height of 10–15 m. It prefers well-drained, acidic soils in full sun or partial shade. Propagation is usually done by seed, which should be sown in a warm, moist environment and kept at a temperature of around 25°C. Germination can take up to 6 weeks. Once the seedlings have grown to a height of around 15 cm, they can be transplanted into individual containers.
