Description
Marcgravia goudotiana (also called Goudot's marcgravia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Marcgraviaceae, native to the Caribbean. It is an evergreen shrub growing to 6 m tall, with glossy, leathery leaves up to 10 cm long and 5 cm broad. It is typically found in moist, shady habitats, growing in humus-rich soils.
Cultivation and Propagation
Marcgravia goudotiana is a perennial shrub that can be propagated by seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining soil mix and kept moist. Cuttings should be taken from mature stems and planted in a moist soil mix. The plant prefers full sun to partial shade and should be watered regularly.
