Description
Ocotea pacifica (also called Pacific Ocotea, among many other common names) is a tree that grows up to 25 meters tall. It is native to tropical regions of South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. It is found in moist forests, along streams, and in shady areas.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flowers of Ocotea pacifica are small and yellow, with four petals and a yellow center. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are dark green with a white stem.
