Description

Ocotea macrophylla (also called Large-leaved Ocotea, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Lauraceae family. It is an evergreen tree that grows up to 25 m tall. It has a smooth, greyish bark and its leaves are leathery, oblong-lanceolate, and about 8 cm long. It is native to the Atlantic Forest biome in Brazil and is found in humid montane forests.
