Beilschmiedia obscurinervia (also called 'Tasmanian laurel', among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub or small tree with an upright habit, growing to a height of 8m. It has oblong leaves with obscure veins that are dark green above and paler beneath. It is native to Tasmania and is found in wet sclerophyll forests and rainforest margins.
