Description

Beilschmiedia gaboonensis (also called African walnut, among many other common names) is a medium-sized tree native to tropical Africa, growing up to 20 m tall. It has a dense, rounded crown and a straight, cylindrical trunk. It is found in lowland rainforest, moist evergreen forest, and moist semi-deciduous forest.
