Physcomitrium subminutulum (also called subminute moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Funariaceae. It is found in North America, Europe, and Asia. It grows in moist, shady habitats, such as woodlands and forests.

Flower: small, yellowish-green, with 4-6 tepals. Seed: small, yellowish-brown, with a smooth surface. Seedlings: small, yellowish-green, with a single leaf and a short stem.
Cultivation and Propagation
Physcomitrium subminutulum can be propagated by spores or vegetatively by dividing the plant. Cultivation is best done in moist, acidic soils with good drainage. Plants should be kept in partial shade and protected from direct sunlight.
