Description
Lithocarpus vidalii (also called Vidal's Oak, among many other common names) is a species of evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia. It has an obovate leaf shape, and grows to a height of up to 30 meters. It is found in lowland and montane forests, and prefers moist soils.

The flower of Lithocarpus vidalii is a small, yellow-greenish flower with a five-lobed calyx. The seed is a small, dark brown nut, and the seedlings are small, dark green seedlings with a single cotyledon.
Cultivation and Propagation
Lithocarpus vidalii is a species of flowering plant in the Fagaceae family, native to Vietnam. It is an evergreen tree growing to 25 m tall. The leaves are alternate, 10–20 cm long, and 5–10 cm broad. The flowers are monoecious, produced in catkins. The fruit is a nut, 2–3 cm diameter, with a thick husk.
