Tachigali subvelutina (also called Velvet-leaved Tachigali, among many other common names) is a small tree or shrub native to tropical forests in Central and South America. It has a dense, rounded canopy and its bark is grey-brown. It grows in humid, lowland forests and can reach heights of up to 10 meters.
