Description
Bauhinia platypetala (also called Flat-petal Bauhinia, among many other common names) is a deciduous tree native to the Indo-Malayan region. It has a straight trunk and a rounded crown, with a maximum height of up to 15 m. It is found in humid forests, in areas with an average annual temperature of 18-22 °C and an average annual rainfall of 1,000-2,000 mm.
