Description

Bauhinia lunarioides (also called Moon-shaped Bauhinia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, up to 6 m tall, with smooth, greyish-brown bark. It has a wide native range, from Mexico to northern Argentina, and is found in a variety of habitats, from dry forests to wetter areas, and from sea level to high altitudes.
