Description

Amburana erythrosperma (also called Amburana erythrosperma, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, up to 8 m tall, with a trunk up to 20 cm in diameter. It is native to the Atlantic Forest biome, and is found in the states of Bahia, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil. It grows in the understory of the forest, in areas of high humidity and temperatures between 18 and 24 °C.
