                        Description
                        
                            Sagina maxima (also called Big Pearlwort, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to Europe and Asia. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a single stem with a few branches. The flowers are white and have five petals. It grows in moist, grassy areas, such as meadows and pastures.
