Acanthophyllum oppositiflorum (also called Opposite-leaved Sea-lavender, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Plumbaginaceae family. It is a perennial herb with a woody base and a height of up to 0.6 m. It is native to the Mediterranean region, and can be found in coastal habitats, such as rocky shores and sand dunes.
