Aechmea heterosepala (also called Heterosepalous Aechmea, among many other common names) is a species of bromeliad native to Brazil. It is a small epiphytic bromeliad with a rosette of long, thin leaves. It is found in humid forests in the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais. It grows in the understory of the forest, on trees and rocks.
