Hieracium argentarium (also called silver hawkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herb in the sunflower family, Asteraceae. It is native to Europe and Asia, and it typically grows in open grasslands and shrublands. It has a single stem that is covered in short, soft hairs and grows up to a height of about 1 meter.
