Description

Maianthemum macrophyllum (also called Large-Leaved False Lily-of-the-Valley, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae. It is native to North America. It is a small to medium-sized herbaceous plant, growing up to 1 meter tall, with a stem up to 30 cm in diameter. It grows in moist woodlands, often near rivers and streams.
