Hemithrinax rivularis (also called Cuban Thatch Palm, among many other common names) is a species of palm tree native to Cuba and Hispaniola. It grows to a height of 5–7 meters and has a trunk diameter of up to 10 cm. It prefers to grow in dry, open forests and savannas.
