We Are Hiring – Fresh Produce Business Development Specialist

Mt Kenya Avocado Farms ( http://www.mtkenyaavocadofarms.com ), a leading Fresh Avocados Exporter based in Kenya seeks to fill the position of a Fresh Produce Business Development Specialist.

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the heads of various departments.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Developing the fresh produce markets for new and existing customers.
• Ensure product development to customers’ requirement including packaging, specifications and delivery schedules
• Developing and managing the full supply chain including logistics
• Provide leadership to a team of managers in various capacities of the fresh produce chain in order to deliver the required products
• Lead the development of any investment required to develop and grow the business.
• Responsible for optimal use of all resources as well as deliver results as per agreed budgets.

We require a candidate with the following qualifications:

• A graduate from a recognized university preferably with a bias in agri business management;
• Knowledge and experience in fresh produce operations and marketing;
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role at a senior management level;
• Highly developed team working, communication and interpersonal skills
