Description

Hypnodendron marginatum (also called Margin-leaved Tree Fern, among many other common names) is a species of tree fern native to New Zealand and Norfolk Island. It has a trunk up to 5 m (16 ft) tall and a crown of large, spreading fronds up to 4 m (13 ft) long. It grows in moist, shady forests, often near streams.
