Sideroxylon portoricense (also called Puerto Rican bullwood, among many other common names) is a small tree or shrub that typically grows up to 10 m tall. It is native to Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the Lesser Antilles. It is found in dry and moist forests, as well as in coastal areas.
