Description

Pseudotsuga macrocarpa (also called Bigcone Douglas-fir, among many other common names) is a coniferous evergreen tree native to western North America. It has a pyramidal shape and can grow up to 60 m tall. It is found in the mountains of the western United States and Canada, from British Columbia south to California and east to Idaho and Montana. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun.
