Abies lasiocarpa (also called Rocky Mountain White Fir, among many other common names) is a coniferous evergreen tree native to North America. It has a pyramidal shape and grows up to 40 meters tall. It is found in moist, cool temperate forests and can tolerate temperatures down to -30°C.
