Description
Pinus thunbergii (also called Japanese Red Pine, among many other common names) is a species of pine native to Japan. It is a medium-sized tree, growing up to 20 m tall, with yellow-green needles. It grows in temperate climates in moist, well-drained soils, such as in coastal plains and lowland forests.
