Description
Pinus mugo (also called mountain pine, among many other common names) is an evergreen coniferous tree native to Europe. It grows up to 10 m tall, with a trunk up to 0.5 m diameter. It is found in dry, rocky, open pine-oak forests at elevations of 1,000–2,000 m.
