Description

Pinus lumholtzii (also called Lumholtz's pine, among many other common names) is a species of coniferous tree in the family Pinaceae. It is native to the mountains of western Mexico, growing at altitudes of 1,500–3,000 m. It typically grows in rocky areas, on ridges and slopes, and in pine forests.
