Description

Abies pinsapo (also called Spanish fir, among many other common names) is a coniferous tree native to the mountains of southern Spain. It has a pyramidal shape with a dense crown and short, horizontal branches. Its needles are blue-green and its cones are cylindrical and upright. It prefers moist, well-drained soils and is found in mountain forests and along streams.
