Abies insignis (also called Noble fir, among many other common names) is a species of coniferous tree in the family Pinaceae. It is an evergreen tree that can reach up to 60 m in height. It is native to the mountains of western North America. It is found in subalpine and montane forests, often in rocky areas, at altitudes of 900-3000 m.
