Description

Paracryphia alticola (also called High Paracryphia, among many other common names) is a species of woody shrub in the Paracryphiaceae family. It is native to western China and is found in forests and meadows at elevations of 1,500-3,000 meters. It has a basal rosette of deeply divided, fern-like leaves and bears solitary, cup-shaped, white flowers in late spring.
