Macromitrium subcirrhosum (also called the 'curly-leaved moss', among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Hypnaceae. It is a small, yellow-green moss with curly leaves, and is native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It is found in moist, shady habitats, such as woodlands, meadows, and along streams.

The flowers of Macromitrium subcirrhosum are small and white, with a yellow center. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are small and green.
Cultivation and Propagation
