Leratia exigua (also called 'Tiny-leaved Thread-moss', among many other common names) is a small moss species that is native to Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia. It is found in moist, shady habitats, such as forests, and on rocks and tree trunks. It forms small tufts of green, thread-like stems, with tiny leaves.
